Reporting to the Community Association Bookkeeping Manager, we are looking for a motivated person that enjoys a challenging, multi-faceted position in a team oriented environment.

You can be part of this fast-growing leader in the industry!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Supports and assists the Community Association Bookkeeping Manager on a day-to-day basis in handling a variety of issues that may arise Assist the Community Association Manager (CAM) effectively and efficiently addressing concerns from homeowners Be responsive and timely in and assisting internal stakeholders with financial issues Transition new and leaving associations' financial information into/from our accounting software, under the supervision of the Community Association Bookkeeping Manager Maintains knowledge of key clients and contacts Sets up and maintains files, materials, information, schedules and related data, as needed Reconcile assigned portfolio of associations' bank statements on a monthly basis Organize and prepare opening all associations' bank accounts by working with the associations' board of directors and community managers Work with community managers to update signature cards on an as needed basis Researches and provides information materials, such as electronic data (Internet) for projects and special assignments Run monthly financial statements for each association, ensure the accuracy and push to web portal by contract date Maintains a list of CDs and monitors said list for maturing CDs and assists the CAM in establishing new CDs Process settlement sheets as related to the various properties Maintains calendars, contact databases, and appointments Writes and prepares letters, memos, e-mails, and reports in draft and final form Proofreads and edits materials to ensure high quality communications All other duties as assigned MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work as part of a team while also being a self-starter Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to take direction and constructive criticism Excellent data entry skills Strong understanding of A/R, A/P and General Ledger bookkeeping Ability to review financial statements and make adjustments as needed Shows initiative and needs minimal supervision Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint) Exceptional time management, prioritization, and organizational skills Must be able to multi-task efficiently and effectively 3-5 years of experience preferred (2-3 years of accounting experience in the Community Association Industry preferred but not required) Positive attitude Customer service-oriented PHYSICAL EFFORT REQUIRED Required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb Ability to lift or move10-20 lbs.
